So I haven't kept this blog up like I had planned, but unfortunately I am having internet issues. So, Tokyo has been a blast. I have a free day today to do whatever, and at first I thought about going to Tokyo Disney, but then I was like I want to try to save money not spend it! A ticket to just get in the park is $75.00! Anyway, so there is a Edo museum near the hotel, so I think I'm going to go there. I have a ton of pictures. Yesterday we went through Gina, which is one of the hotest shopping districts in Japan. Seriously think of a high end name brand, and they got it! From LV to True Religion to Coach to Fendi to Gucci and so on and so on and so on. This place was insane. Then we went to Harajuku! That was GREAT! I loved it. There was so much to see really. But that is the fashion place for all the teens. It's crazy seeing this place on TV and then actually being there. There was also the building where they held the 1964 Olympics. It was nice. Then we went of to Asakusa. There is a very famous temple here, this is also where all the shopping is going down! I bought a couple of things but not much. Gifts mostly. Then we went to catch some dinner at Tempura and then went to a Kabuki show. It was really good but I honestly couldn't enjoy it like I wanted b/c I was so exhausted from walking all day. I haven't ever walked so much in my life. Ah well Yokoso Japan (welcome to Japan).
So for today, I am going to see what is going down in J-land and hopefully not get lost. I wanted to go to Hard Rock Cafe and so I have to take the subway, which I did last night and it was painless honestly. And see what I get. I have to go to Roppongi, which is another expensive type place. A hotel room at the Ritz Carlton in Roppongi will run you about $20,000 a night. Yea, sooooo there ya go.
I hope to have some more pics up so. I didn't load any on my computer last night b/c i was so tired, but I promise to have something up. I'm having a blast, and for some reason it just feels like any other city or place to me, like I have always lived here. People are nice, and friendly. Always willing to help. Good times.
Well that is it for now. Keep a check, b/c I will have more up soon!
