What's up everyone!? Its been a while I know, but there hasn't really been anything exciting to write about! Nothing exciting about my trip anyway. I was watching one the shows on Yes Japan, which was also a link I provided, and they were drinking Ramune. What is Ramune you ask? Well Ramune is a carbonated drink, kind of like a sprite, but its basically a Japanese soda. Anyway, what makes this drink so special is not its unique taste, but how you drink it! Well sort of. This drink has a marble in it, yes that is what I said a marble. When you open the drink you take the plunger, and pop the marble into the bottle, b/c it is actually stuck at the cap, so you have push it down. Once that is done then you can drink and enjoy. If you turn the bottle a certain way, you won't be able to drink it, so you can get messy if you aren't careful, at least that is what I heard, I was extremely careful, and so I have yet to experience the Ramune wrath!

Something Old, Something New, Something Japanese!
I went to the Grand Asia Market on Saturday. This store is about mmm maybe almost an hour away from my house. And as far as I know the only HUGE asian market in North Carolina. If you are looking for Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, if its Asian they got it. Most I have to say is Chinese and Korean, but a treat to shop there none the less. I love going there, once you step in the door you really feel like you stepped in Asia. I hate to leave, b/c I can spend hours in there. I of course go for the Japanese treats. Here is a pic of what I bought.
Now in this pic the Ramune as you guess it, is on the upper right. I got three flavors, I actually only wanted two, but did a boo boo when shopping b/c I had gotten so excited I found it. I didn't find this product however at the Grand Asia Market, but at the World Market in Raleigh. I remember a long time ago when I went there when they first opened and saw they sold wine and different drinks and snacks from around the world. So my last stop of my journey was there, and I told myself if I didn't find it there, I will order it online. Which honestly didn't want to do b/c these bad boys are in glass bottles. I bought some more of my treats, but one thing I did buy and was TOTALLY excited to find that I also discovered recently is LUX Hair Care products. It is the product in the upper middle of the picture in the Gold wrapping. I keep hearing from my Japanese friends, and some men ;-P, that this product is great and smells great. Well I found it, and painfully expensive, I might as well went into a salon and bought Redken or something. It was 17.99, but at the same time the bottles are a nice size. None the less it burnt my pocket. I must also add that it does indeed smell incredible. You can smell this product before you even open it!
I spoke with my good friend Kayo from Kyoto Japan last night and she was so kind, to take this WONDERFUL and BEAUTIFUL picture of Sakura (Cherry Blossoms) from outside her place. I have used it for my desktop picture. I am so thankful, and so happy to know she remembered it was my favorite. Arigato Kayo!
Next on the agenda is something I have thought about really hard. I thought about making my own Japanese language shows! I would record them, then of course do some editing, and post it on my You Tube page. I just haven't quite decided how to go about this whole deal.
Well that is all for me today, I just wanted to touch base and let you know what's going on. The Japanese language is getting really fun to learn now and excited to learn more everyday. Thanks for all who do read this blog and keep up with me. If anyone that reads this blog has any questions please let me know. And before I go of course my nice happy bunny for today, also a new one The Bonzai SUPA FLY! You can find him at the wonderful Joe Cartoon Website.
